Mulmi is a passenger-only Android utility that displays motion-responsive dots near the screen edges to make using your phone more comfortable while you read, message, browse, or watch content in a moving vehicle.
Keep the center and touch clear
The cues stay near the edges instead of covering the main content. The overlay does not take normal touch input, so you can keep scrolling and using the app underneath it.
Check your sensor in 10 seconds
Run the built-in sensor test before the ride to confirm that the dots respond on your device.
Tune the cues for your screen
Start with Gentle, Reading, or Strong, then adjust dot size, opacity, spacing, color, and sensitivity.
Start again without hunting for the app
Use the Quick Settings tile or home-screen widget to start and stop Mulmi when you need it.
Optional ride detection, never automatic start
After you enable the feature and grant permission, Android Activity Recognition can detect an in-vehicle transition without a precise GPS route. Mulmi sends a passenger confirmation notification and waits for your tap. It never starts cues from detection alone. Only a session started from that notification can stop automatically after vehicle exit.
From phone to laptop
When your phone and laptop are on the same Wi-Fi, Laptop Companion can use the phone's motion input to show cues around the laptop screen.
Privacy choices
No account or subscription is required. Declining optional anonymous analytics does not remove core features. Raw sensor values, precise GPS, Wi-Fi details, and companion relay addresses are not sent to Firebase Analytics.
